Basically what they do is scan their Affidavits into the system and the system reads the barcode and can tell: 1) that it's an Affidavit and 2) If clients should be able to see it or not and 3) If it should email it to the person who is to be emailed on that job.
So... Our customers drop a stack in the scanner and hit the Scan button, then they Browse to the directory and hit Select All and Upload and the program automatically reads the barcodes, saves and sorts them/attaches them to their jobs and then within 2 minutes it fires them off to the client/requestor of the job via email containing a link for them to click on. The program also watches this link so it can tell that the client DID get it (ever had a client tell you they never got it?).
This turned out to be a huge game-changing feature for our customers.
Listening to our customers has always been huge for our product. So many of the features in it are there because someone really needed to make their workflow go faster or come up with something that their competition didn't have.
The barcode recognition has become so popular that we got a NICE updated datamatrix driver and moved LDMax to a high speed server to perform the recognition on the server-side.
Got a nice idea that would help you get an edge on your competition? Shoot it over, we can usually make it happen for you!
